This drug will do not show effect on type 1 diabetes. It only works upon type 2 diabetes that is it improves level of sugar in blood. Actos show good effect when it is taken with other combinations therefore Actos will not be ample if taken separately so it is always recommend Actos with some other anti diabetec drugs.

One of the major risks from intake of Actos is liver failure. Im many of cases which are noticed in past few years that intake of high dosage of Actos lead to liver transplant or even death also. So it is always advises to go for some test to check whether Actos suits you and is safe for your liver or not.

Apart from liver failure other adverse effect is it can make blood sugar level to go even too low which can lead to hypoglycemia.
